Concrete delivery works best when the schedule reflects the jobsite, not just the desired arrival time. Plant assignment, haul route, volume, placement rate, and crew readiness all affect the delivery plan.
Start with the placement rate
Estimate how quickly the crew can receive, place, consolidate, and finish concrete. That rate determines the spacing between trucks and helps avoid long gaps or a queue that the site cannot safely handle.
Share route and access constraints
Provide the exact address and identify narrow roads, gates, overhead obstructions, staging limitations, school zones, or restricted delivery hours. Route information should be reviewed before the first truck is scheduled.
Build a practical contingency
Weather, traffic, equipment, and field conditions can change the plan. Keep the placement team aligned on the dispatch contact, backup communication method, and decision point for adjusting the sequence.
For Alliance projects, the delivery conversation starts with the project address, quantity, specifications, placement details, and target dates. That gives the team a usable basis for plant and schedule review.
